| Even when you do not interact with customers, a scruffy appearance might convey an indifferent attitude towards your work. | ||
| I think we're a society of over-shavers, frankly. As long as it's maintained, I think a nice beard is totally acceptable in the work environment. | ||
| I think that facial hair could look professional if it is kept up nicely. I think that you would look good w facial hair, and no it shouldn't bother anyone. | ||
| As a coworker, it wouldn't bother me. And as a boss, I wouldn't view it negatively. | ||
| Some people can pull off a beard very well. You look like you would have a full beard. Some men only grow one with patches of hair and to me that looks bad. I think you would look good and it wouldn't come off as you being lazy or anything. | ||
| If you are not seeing the public, I wouldn't have an objection to an unshaven face. Why not try going for a beard and mustache? | ||
| I think you need to check in with your boss and see if he or she is turned off by the stubble. If you absolutely HATE to shave, why not grow a short beard. That way, you'd only have to trim it occasionally. So many guys wear that need-to-shave look, I don't think anybody is offended by it anymore, but your boss is the one to ask. | ||
| You would probably be better off to have a trimmed beard. If this was a look you didn't like, then shaving more often would be a better office look. | ||
| I think one of the most attractive looks for men today is the look of needing a shave, or the "5:00 shadow." Sort of the George Clooney look. But it can't grow too shaggy and must accompany an overall clean, put-together presentation - which you definitely have. I say keep that shadow! |
